Bar & Restaurant Waiter / Waitress - Full Time & Part Time - Dakota Manchester Airport

We are seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with waiting experience for the role of Bar & Restaurant Waiter / Waitress to deliver exceptional service to our guests, with a planned start date 1st June 2026.

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE

Earnings are to £15.67 including average anticipated tronc. We are looking for both full time and part time positions.

• Full time: Permanent contract with typical hours of 20‑30 hours per week. Usually shifts will be 13:00‑19:00 or 18:00‑23:30 working any 5 days out of 7.
• Part Time: Permanent contract with typical hours of 8‑12 hours per week. Usually shifts will be 18:00‑23:30, working any 2 days out of 7.

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out the role of a waiter/waitress in our Bar and Grill, providing table service, taking guest orders and running large trays of delicious food to guest tables.
• Create memorable dining experiences through genuine conversation with personalised food and beverage recommendations.
• Work closely with the Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our food and beverage menu, including allergens, to guide guests choices.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have/be:

• At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.
• Have an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
• Be task oriented with a great pride for the work they do and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
• Successful candidates must demonstrate having researched our brand and a genuine desire to be part of our team.

• Train: About a 10 minute walk from Manchester Airport station, with frequent direct services from Manchester Piccadilly and across the North West.
• Tram: Metrolink Blue Line runs from Victoria via Central Manchester to the airport main station (approximately 10 minute walk away).
• Bus: Bee Network routes (43, 103, 130, 199, 248, 288, 313, 368) serve the airport; some stop a few minutes from the hotel, others at the main station (approximately 10 minutes walk away).
• Car: No on-site team parking; public transport is recommended.
• Cycling: Good local routes; secure bike storage available at the team entrance.
