CONTRACT AND PAY RATE Earnings are up to £16.06 including average anticipated tronc. Permanent contract with typical hours of 25-30 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the guest-arrival experience within our Bar & Grill.
- Work closely with the Assistant Restaurant Manager to ensure exceptional service standards and smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a running knowledge of all upcoming reservations and handle guest enquiries, including walk-ins, special requests, dietary notes, and accessibility needs.
- Host stand and cloakroom maintenance including menu printing/up-keep and ad-hoc tasks for the Bar & Grill.
- Provide a Dakota welcome and farewell to all guests.
- Liaise with reservations to understand guest requirements and special requests.
- Maintain a comprehensive level of knowledge of our food and drinks menu to offer personal recommendations.
- Deliver service that showcases your outgoing personality.
- Contribute to pre-service team briefings on upcoming covers, reservation notes, events, and VIPs.
- Drive up-sales through service and sincere guest recognition.
- Liaise with the Food & Beverage Reservations team to ensure seamless communication and delivery of dining experiences.
- Handle all pre-arrival checks to ensure guest notes, allergies, celebrations, and requests are logged and actioned.
- Support handling of F&B reservation enquiries for parties of up to 20 guests.
