Job Overview

Food & Beverage Manager responsible for overseeing quality and service standards across all food and beverage areas (Bar & Grill, dining, cocktail bar). Acts as a hands‑on operational leader driving excellence, coaching, and service innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Run and oversee all F&B services, ensuring the highest levels of service to guests and coaching staff to maintain quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team—especially the Head Chef and Reception—to enhance the guest experience and increase diner-to-resident ratios.
  • Drive commercial performance, including payroll management, rota development, bookings diary, service sequencing, and sales culture through service.
  • Maintain knowledge of supplier contracts, manage stock takes, and oversee accurate ordering.
  • Develop and inspire the team, instilling passion for food and beverage.
  • Partner with HR for recruitment, ongoing training, appraisals, and one‑to‑one meetings; implement training plans and deliver on‑the‑job coaching.

Qualifications / Applicant Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or higher in a full‑service restaurant (required).
  • At least one year’s experience in a leadership role overseeing beverages in a cocktail bar environment (required).
  • Experience working in a hotel environment, including Duty Manager roles (preferable).
  • Valid personal license (preferable).
  • Fully flexible to work shifts, evenings, and weekends (required).
  • A proactive, positive individual who promotes team culture and is task‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated research of Dakota’s brand and genuine desire to join the team (required).
