We are seeking a reliable and hard‑working individual to join our Front of House Team in the role of Assistant Night Manager.
Primary Role Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Senior Night Manager, support in the leadership of the night’s team as delegated.
- For two–four nights per week, be the senior on duty and in charge of the night shift.
- Deliver one‑on‑one training to new team members and complete their New Start Training Plan; manage workload through the shift and ongoing performance management.
- Carry out reception duties: check guests in and out, support the bar where required, ensure the correct running of the Night Audit, banking, and completion of the Night Cleaning Checklist.
- Apply knowledge of alcohol licensing and ensure compliance with legislation, keep the premises and guests safe and secure, and de‑escalate any security matters.
- As the allocated Duty Manager, oversee the smooth running of the entire hotel during night hours and implement night‑time procedures, ensuring guest safety.
Applicant Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a front of house role in a 4* or 5* hotel in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a hotel environment.
- A reliable and dependable individual.
- An enthusiastic individual who promotes a culture of positivity.
- Task‑oriented with great pride in work and attention to detail.
- Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of the business.
