Job Description:
Dakota Hotel, based in South Queensferry, is seeking a hard-working individual for a cleaning-based role as a Kitchen Porter.
CONTRACT AND PAY RATE
Earn £13.50 per hour, paid weekly, with a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £12,636 (including anticipated tronc payment).
The role offers a contract of at least 18 hours per week, with shifts on any 3 days out of 7, including early (7am-3pm) and late (5pm-midnight) shifts, and includes weekends.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash all pots, pans, crockery, glassware, and cutlery throughout the day.
- Store and organize all clean items, ensuring chefs have all required equipment.
- Perform daily clean-downs of the Employee Break Room and deep clean the Kitchen twice daily.
- Keep Back of House areas clear and maintain cleanliness of bin store areas daily.
- Follow waste disposal and recycling procedures, maintaining the waste storage area.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures, especially regarding waste and manual handling.
- Handle chemicals safely and maintain high standards in food preparation areas.
