About the role We are looking for a motivated student intern who is fluent in Japanese to support our Equity Capital Markets team in London.
This is a great opportunity to learn how capital markets transactions are originated and executed, while working closely with colleagues across London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Working Hours As a student, we appreciate you are committed to your studies, that’s why we are offering a flexible working pattern.
Ideally you would be able to commit to specific University holidays that we would agree ahead of time, as well as a couple of morning or afternoons each week.
What you’ll be doing Supporting the ECM team with market analysis, investor research and transaction materials.
Helping prepare presentations, internal documents and deal-related materials.
Assisting with convertible bond processes and internal tracking.
Coordinating with teams across different regions.
Learning how equity capital markets and cross-border transactions work in practice.
What we’re looking for Strong written and verbal Japanese and English language skills, including the ability to review written communications and materials accurately Current undergraduate or postgraduate students with a strong academic background.
Interest in investment banking, capital markets and financial markets.
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
Confident using Excel and Power Point.
First class worth ethic Motivated, curious and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
