Hours of work: Monday to Friday working 8:30 - 17:00 or 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide technical support and assist with the implementation of a Daisy standalone IT infrastructure.
- Design, support & optimise physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
- Work with external networking, infrastructure and support teams.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated, approaches for system administration tasks.
- Manage and complete effective documentation of server procedures regarding design and implementation of hardware, software, and systems.
- Actively perform system monitoring, verifying the availability and integrity of all servers, systems and key processes.
- Be an escalation point for the deskside support team.
- Mentor the junior members of the IT team.
- Be able to act on Cyber Security Alerts.
What We're Looking For:
- Project work involvement/implementation/planning.
- Microsoft Dynamics.
- VMware / Hyper‐V implementation/administration troubleshooting.
- General System Administration skills (Operating systems, hardware, virtualization).
- Infrastructure security (Firewalls/AV).
- Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/GPO etc.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012r2 - 2022.
- Various Backup Tools including Rubrik and DPM.
- Organised with high attention to detail.
- Cloud Experience AWS/Azure.
- Cyber Security Knowledge.
- Microsoft 365 Experience.
