- Location: Nelson
- Salary: £50,000 DOE
- Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 08:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant who will be responsible for producing monthly management/financial reporting. This role involves preparation of monthly management reporting packs, variance analysis, business partnering and review of revenue and margin to support decision making. This role would be suited to someone looking to get hands on and contribute to ongoing improvements across systems and processes.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support additional regulatory reporting with production of FCA reporting as well as supporting payment practices submissions.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management reporting to senior management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT return.
- Conducting detailed variance analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across key products and channels.
- Balance sheet maintenance, ensuring key control accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Support month-end closing processes.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with year-end audit, preparation of stat reporting and liaising with external auditors.
Qualifications:
- Part Qualified/Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis; knowledge of Microsoft Access and Data Warehouse functionality advantageous.
- Proficiency with current financial software (Sage).
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail including awareness of contracts and legal documentation.
- Good follow-up skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines with an eye for accuracy and detail.
- A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and dependability.
