Finance Manager – Daisy Group Position Summary: Finance Manager responsible for management and reporting of revenue, margins, and financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making, leading a team of part‑qualified management accountants. Location: Nelson Contract: 12‑month fixed term (possible transition to permanent) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £60,000 (DOE) Responsibilities Consolidation and review of mid‑month and month‑end reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across key products and channels. Balance sheet management ensuring key control accounts are reconciled monthly. Management of monthly revenue‑assurance reconciliations for key products, liaising with the business and suppliers to resolve queries. Working closely with the Chief Finance Officer to identify and monitor key risks and opportunities. Implement and enhance operational and financial processes and controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiencies in monthly reporting. Support financial analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting and margin enhancement projects. Preparation of deliverables for the year‑end audit, ensuring records are correct and complete. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals ensuring effective development. Qualifications Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). Advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge of Microsoft Access and data‑warehouse functionality advantageous. Proficiency with relevant financial software (Sage). Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with finance and non‑finance colleagues. Strong attention to detail, including awareness of contracts and legal documentation. Good follow‑up skills and a positive attitude. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines with accuracy. High energy level with creative problem‑solving abilities.
