We’re looking for a Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting and provide valuable insight to support business performance and decision‑making.
Job Details
- Salary: Up to £52,000 DoE
- Location: Bournemouth
- Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours)
Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑end month‑end close process, ensuring all reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are supported and reviewed regularly.
- Act as a key finance contact for the business unit, providing insight and supporting operational teams.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics aligned to business objectives.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to group reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Support audit requirements and ensure financial records remain accurate and compliant.
- Identify risks and maintain compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or part‑qualified accountant.
- Strong experience in management accounts and month‑end processes.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
