Chef de Partie - Pastry for Daisy Green Collection

The Daisy Green Collection brings relaxed and buzzing Australian food and coffee culture to London.
Through individually designed cafes and restaurants, we create iconic spaces that become local destinations and meeting points for our surrounding residents, workers and visitors.
Our food is carefully sourced and cooked in house from scratch.
Menus are inspired by our founders, Prue Freeman, childhood at home on her sheep farm and hot summers on the beach.
Food combines simple fresh Mediterranean ingredients with POPs of Asian flavours and textures.
There is an overriding sense of freshness, quality and simplicity.
- DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE FOR CHEF DE PARTIE - PASTRY
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Demi Chef de Partie in a pastry section, ideally within a high-volume production kitchen
- Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays as required by production schedules
- Right to work in the UK
- Full knowledge of Food safety

- Full knowledge of Food safety
- Prepare, bake, and finish a range of cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked items to the required standard and specification
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control Monitor stock levels for the pastry section and communicate ordering needs to the Head Chef/Sous Chef
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols are strictly followed (HACCP compliance)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked section at all times
- Train and support junior chefs, commis chefs, and kitchen interns on the pastry section
- Assist other sections of the kitchen as needed, particularly during staff shortages or peak periods
- Report any equipment issues, quality concerns, or health & safety hazards promptly
