Your Role
- Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions, encouraging outdoor exploration and learning
- Support children through hands-on, nature-based activities that promote curiosity and independence
- Create opportunities for risk-taking, problem-solving, and imaginative play in a safe environment
- Track and reflect on children’s development, supporting key milestones
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing children’s progress and experiences
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, child welfare, and health & safety at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive environment
- Bring energy, creativity, and a passion for outdoor learning into everyday practice
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, Forest School Assistant or similar)
- Strong understanding of child development and individual learning needs
- Passion for outdoor and nature-based learning
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and early years legislation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
