Your Role
- Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions, encouraging outdoor exploration and learning
- Support children through hands‑on, nature-based activities that promote curiosity and independence
- Create opportunities for risk‑taking, problem‑solving, and imaginative play in a safe environment
- Track and reflect on children’s development, supporting key milestones
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing children’s progress and experiences
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, child welfare, and health & safety at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive environment
- Bring energy, creativity, and a passion for outdoor learning into everyday practice
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, Forest School Assistant or similar)
- Strong understanding of child development and individual learning needs
- Passion for outdoor and nature-based learning
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and early years legislation
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic approach

All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certification. All employees must subscribe to the DBS Update Service once their DBS has been processed.
