Job Details:

  • Salary: £24,000 per annum
  • Location: Cheadle
  • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 6:30pm (37.5 hours)

You will work in the IT division, providing excellent service to over 250 external customers. The role involves being the first point of contact when a ticket is logged, including speaking to customers over the phone, logging and responding to emails, and proactively logging tickets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as an onsite IT Technician at customer sites in central London to resolve user issues.
  • Coordinate with the Projects Team to install network infrastructure at customer sites.
  • Log helpdesk emails promptly into the helpdesk system.
  • Act as the initial contact for resolving user IT issues.
  • Accurately record all activities related to customer IT issues in the helpdesk system.
  • Update all helpdesk tickets daily, even if there has been no customer communication.
  • Escalate IT issues and collaborate with Project Engineers to resolve issues beyond support scope.

Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware and software.
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop OS and productivity suite.
  • Knowledge of server operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Basic networking knowledge.

Additional Information: This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer but requires strong relationships across the Group Board of Directors.
