We’re looking for a Telematics Engineer to provide expert technical support for customers using telematics and vehicle tracking solutions, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide first line and second-line technical support for customers experiencing faults or issues with telematics devices and associated software platforms.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal customer downtime.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems, delivering professional and customer-focused support.
- Configure, provision, and test telematics devices prior to deployment, ensuring equipment is fully operational and accurately programmed.
- Prepare and dispatch telematics equipment and installation kits for new customer orders, maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of support cases, installations, and device inventories, ensuring all information is accurately documented.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and installation partners to coordinate fault resolution, repairs, replacements, and customer implementations.
- Monitor telematics system performance and identify recurring issues, providing feedback and recommendations to improve service reliability and customer experience.

- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes.
