We are looking for a Head of Legal to lead our legal function, partner with senior stakeholders, and provide commercially focused legal advice that supports business growth. As a Head of Legal you will:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of solicitors and contract managers, fostering a high-performing legal function.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the Executive Team and senior leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
- Lead legal support for key customer, supplier, technology and strategic commercial agreements.
- Oversee complex contract negotiations and ensure effective legal risk management across the business.
- Support the General Counsel on corporate governance, strategic projects and Board-level matters.
- Drive continuous improvement within the legal function through streamlined processes, best practice and technology.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent.
- Experienced commercial lawyer with strong negotiation skills.
- Proven leader of legal teams and people.
- Trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Commercially astute with sound risk judgement.
- Able to simplify complex legal issues into practical solutions.
- Pragmatic, proactive and results-focused.
