As O2 Business, we believe in the wonder of simplicity; the joy of that comes when technology works as it should, with reliability, clarity, and speed.

We’re incredibly excited about this next step in our journey and you could be on that journey too.

We’re looking for a Business Capabilities Lead to shape, prioritise, and govern business demand, ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value. You will lead a team of Capability Product Owners, the role drives consistent ways of working, process simplification, and benefits realisation across the business systems portfolio.

  • Act as the primary front door for business demand, ensuring requests are captured, assessed, prioritised, and aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Own the business capability roadmap and prioritisation process, ensuring initiatives are aligned to business strategy and deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead the review and optimisation of end-to-end business capabilities and processes, challenging existing ways of working, driving simplification, standardisation, and adoption of best practice, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value and benefits rather than replicating legacy processes, organisational complexity, or system constraints.
  • Drive value-based prioritisation, ensuring investment and delivery effort is focused on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain consistent ways of working, governance, standards, and best practices across capability ownership and business analysis.
  • Ensure Capability Product Owners work effectively with technical delivery teams to translate business needs into deliverable solutions.
  • Manage cross-capability dependencies, conflicts, and prioritisation decisions to optimise business outcomes across the organisation.
