Hours of work: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth running of the office on a daily basis
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and service providers
  • Act as the main point of contact for office‑related queries
  • Be first point of contact as people come into the office via the reception desk
  • Ensure the office complies with health, safety, and workplace regulations
  • Manage fire safety, first aid arrangements, and workplace training where required
  • Support onboarding of new starters (access, equipment, workspace)
  • Maintain office policies and procedures
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to teams
  • Foster a positive, professional office environment
  • Manage the office budget and monitor spending
  • Process invoices and manage supplier contracts
  • Identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvements
  • Liaise with leadership, HR, IT, and external providers
  • Support office moves, refurbishments, and internal events
  • Line manage reception or administrative staff where applicable

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an Office Manager, Office Coordinator, or similar role
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident handling multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
