We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst.

Salary: Up to £40,000.00

Location: Cheadle

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 – 5:00/5:30 (37.5 hours)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Respond to security alerts, escalations, and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Oversee vulnerability scanning processes to validate the effectiveness of patching efforts.
  • Arrange and support security penetration testing initiatives.
  • Monitor external information sources and provide recommendations on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment.
  • Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware.
  • Evaluate and recommend server hardening measures for implementation by the Infrastructure Team.
  • Assist with the configuration of email and internet security solutions.
  • Ensure all security configurations comply with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
