We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen at Daish's Hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and direct food preparation processes and related activities, leading and developing the kitchen team.
- Manage budget constraints per season, ensuring good cost control per head.
- Oversee stock replenishment and carry out monthly stock check counts, submitting to accounts for cost per head calculations.
- Maintain required legislative records such as the SFBB log and labelling systems for internal and external inspections.
- Ensure health inspection standards, maintaining at least a 4 at an external local authority health inspection and keeping this standard for internal checks.
- Implement batch cooking and organised delivery – breakfast served at 8.30 am daily, dinner sent out at 6.30 pm, aiming for full restaurant service within 45 min.
- Manage kitchen operation across the full spectrum of tasks and responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively and lead the team with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Keep up to date with culinary trends and optimise kitchen processes.

Qualifications
- Current Level 3 Hygiene Certificate (course provided if not already held).
