The Role:

We’re currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join our fun and friendly team based in Bournemouth. This is a permanent role, working 40hrs a week. The Role will be based at our offices in Bournemouth; however occasional travel will be required to either our hotels or various marketing events.

This role will include a wide variety of marketing disciplines. You’ll be working alongside our groups existing marketing executive and will report to the groups Commercial Director. You will also be working closely with the Reservations team, Group Bookings team, IT and Yield departments. You will also be working with a number of outside agencies.

Main Tasks/Duties

This role covers a wide range of disciplines, however a summary of the main tasks is below:

Undertake weekly email marketing campaigns to the entire customer database along with targeted daily email campaigns.

Complete daily text marketing campaigns.

Proof read and signoff direct mail campaigns

Work on the multiple brochures produced each year, proofing of copy, price checking against reservation system

Data extraction and analysis from reservations system for various marketing campaigns

Updating pricing/amending tours based on marketing campaigns

Updating company website through CMS system

Social Media monitoring for Daish’s Holidays, individual hotels and Daish’s Facebook Community

Working with Daish’s IT manager on PPC/SEO campaigns and working with external agency

Working with Yield department to maximise sales and assist with system loading ahead of brochure launches

Assisting reservations team during peak period (January brochure launch in particular)

Planning, execution and running Daish’s Roadshows at various locations around the country.

Your Skills:

This role would suit someone with previous marketing experience, a marketing/business graduate or someone with travel and tourism experience who is looking for an exciting role where you’ll be able to gain plenty of experience.

While we aim to provide a fun working environment, we are looking for people that are hardworking and self-motivated and have a willingness to learn new skills. We work in a fast-paced environment and are looking for someone that can work well to deadlines and under pressure.

You’ll be someone that works well in a team and has great communication skills as you’ll be working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Good computer skills are a must and photo editing/video-editing would certainly be a bonus as we look to take the business in a more digitally driven marketing direction in the future.
