Come join the team and start Daish’s Holidays as our new Maintenance Operative! If you want career progression or stable all year-round employment, then Daish’s is the perfect fit for you.

We offer a fun and inclusive working environment with pay up to £13.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. You also receive £50 after completing basic Daish\’s training, and if you refer a friend, you\’ll split £100!

Hours include weekends and bank holidays, from 9am to 5pm and 10am to 6pm on arrival days.

Daish\’s Hotels are flexible employers, striving to facilitate a healthy work-life balance. We provide a supportive mental wellbeing and financial assistance package, and offer an extra paid day off for your birthday.

Additionally, we have a \”Take your family on a Daish\’s holiday scheme\” for as little as £95 per holiday—covering 4 nights, breakfast, dinner, room, travel, and entertainment.

Skills and Experience that set you apart:

  • Maintaining external areas such as car parks, paths, and roadways.
  • Inspecting hotel rooms for maintenance needs.
  • Carrying out maintenance in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure safety for all.
  • Ensuring all equipment is in good working order and scheduling maintenance accordingly.
  • Performing carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks daily.
  • Conducting health and safety checks, fire safety, risk assessments, and legionella testing.
  • Experience in maintenance, trades like carpentry, joinery, plumbing, or electrics.
  • Experience in painting and decorating.
  • Holding relevant trade qualifications is preferred.
