The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 Β£ per year.
Ensures general maintenance tasks are completed in an efficient manner and that corrective actions are implemented. Ensures all standards of housekeeping are maintained in line with good Engineering practice, Company quality systems and Health & Safety procedures.
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 4pm, 40 hours per week; Pension scheme; 31 days holiday including Bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out maintenance in line with schedule to the HVAC units on site.
- Maintain accurate recording of all work carried out.
- Carry out daily and weekly checks to all compressed air equipment and nitrogen plant on site and record findings/readings in the relevant areas in line with procedure.
- Complete all activities in line with the daily work plan to support on site facilities maintenance and engineering activity.
- Complete basic electrical repairs and maintenance, i.e., replacing bulbs and fluorescent tubes only.
- Carry out repairs as required to site machinery and equipment.
- Provide support to the Shift Engineers as and when required for all breakdown and maintenance activity.
- Joinery and General DIY: maintaining and/or installing woodwork, painting of offices/site areas etc.
- General Plumbing: toilets, kitchens and other areas as necessary.
- Facility Repairs: doors, windows, rooms, floors etc.
- General landscaping maintenance, repairs and external site maintenance.
- Control activities of contractors on site, ensuring that all permits to work and relevant documentation are completed and relevant procedures are complied with.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 Years in building/Facility Maintenance.
- Good experience in all trades to include Plumbing, Joinery, Painting and Decorating.
- Basic understanding of Engineering Maintenance, ideally in a FMCG environment.
- Computer literate with basic understanding of Microsoft packages.
- Is a team player who supports others to ensure that work deadlines are achieved.
- Undertakes tasks with enthusiasm and takes pride in their work.
- Confident and articulate communicator over the phone, face to face and in writing.
- Demonstrates excellent accuracy and attention to detail so that work is of a high standard.
