Dainton Portable Buildings, part of the Dainton Group, is a fast-growing division specialising in the sale and hire of shipping containers and portable accommodation. With 14 locations across England and Wales and continued expansion planned, we’re looking to recruit a motivated Sales Executive to support our next phase of growth.

This is a varied, autonomous sales role with strong inbound demand and warm leads from day one. You’ll manage enquiries, develop new business, build long-term customer relationships, and deliver solutions ranging from container hire to bespoke modular and conversion projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming sales enquiries and repeat business
  • Developing new business through proactive sales and relationship building
  • Preparing and following up quotations and tenders
  • Coordinating suppliers, logistics, and deliveries
  • Managing customer accounts and maintaining CRM records
  • Attending networking events and industry shows

About you:

  • Proven sales experience (phone and face-to-face)
  • Commercially minded, organised, and target-driven
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and projects
  • Portable/modular building experience preferred, but not essential

What we offer:

  • £28,000 basic salary + uncapped commission
  • Realistic OTE £38,000–£45,000+
  • Strong pipeline of warm leads
  • High autonomy with supportive management
  • Long‑term career progression within a growing business
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
  • Full UK driving licence required
