Our Corporate Tax team are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our team in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Review of Corporation Tax Returns and Computations on behalf of clients
- Involved with various advisory projects (succession planning, MBO’s, share schemes and R&D tax relief)
- Dealing with tax queries on behalf of clients
- Contact with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties as necessary
- Contact with clients to deal with queries arising when preparing annual Tax Returns and in dealing with their affairs on an ongoing basis
- To assist the Partners and Directors in delivering tax planning advice
- To manage a portfolio of clients to ensure that all Corporate Tax Returns and Computations are prepared and submitted to HM Revenue & Customs by the due dates
- To build strong relationships with clients
- Advising clients on their tax liabilities, together with due dates for payment
- To manage the WIP on client portfolio, ensuring that all fees are raised and issued to the client on completion of work
- To ensure that time is managed effectively, with good recovery rates on each job whilst ensuring that time is charged to the client
- Meeting with prospective clients with regards to their tax affairs
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Be qualified to ACA/CTA or similar level
- You must be self-motivated and driven with a positive work ethic
- Be able to build strong relationships both externally and across the Dains Group.
- You will need to demonstrate resilience and confidence taking on new challenges
- You must have confidence and tenacity to develop team members
