Dains Accountants, a well-established and reputable firm, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Advisory Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in providing strategic financial guidance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts including group structures and the associated Corporation Tax computations
  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts with appropriate narrative and any bespoke client requirements
  • Oversee the provision of competent bookkeeping and VAT service to clients including assistance with day to day queries, any significant issues, software matters etc
  • Review accounts (unincorporated or incorporated) for client meetings and prepared for signing off by the Partner
  • To deal with client requests relating to HMRC, PAYE and VAT matters with minimal input from the Partner
  • You will advise clients on basic accounting and tax matters, to include liaising with the other departments as required
  • Be able to supervise a designated client portfolio including managing workflow, preparation, review, meeting the client, invoicing the work and meeting statutory and non-statutory deadlines
  • Manage and develop team members to promote their professional growth

Skills & Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax and VAT and the impact on accounts and client’s overall affairs
  • Strong knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning limited company accounts, in particular FRS 102 and FRS 105 experience
  • Minimum qualification requirement will be ACCA/ACA
