Responsibilities:

  • Identifying high-quality potential clients through research across a range of industries
  • Analysing company profiles to understand potential project needs and funding eligibility
  • Introducing GHE’s services clearly and confidently, focusing on value, not volume
  • Qualifying prospects and ensuring meetings are meaningful and well-targeted
  • Holding insightful conversations that demonstrate understanding of innovation funding
  • Keeping CRM/database records accurate and up to date
  • Preparing relevant insight for the BD team to support high-value client conversations

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • A confident, engaging communicator with strong telephone presence
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Prior experience in customer engagement, or business development is an advantage
  • Experience speaking with decision-makers or professional stakeholders is beneficial
  • Commercial curiosity and the ability to understand business challenges
