Responsibilities:
- Identifying high-quality potential clients through research across a range of industries
- Analysing company profiles to understand potential project needs and funding eligibility
- Introducing GHE’s services clearly and confidently, focusing on value, not volume
- Qualifying prospects and ensuring meetings are meaningful and well-targeted
- Holding insightful conversations that demonstrate understanding of innovation funding
- Keeping CRM/database records accurate and up to date
- Preparing relevant insight for the BD team to support high-value client conversations
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- A confident, engaging communicator with strong telephone presence
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Prior experience in customer engagement, or business development is an advantage
- Experience speaking with decision-makers or professional stakeholders is beneficial
- Commercial curiosity and the ability to understand business challenges
