Dains are hiring for a Tax Trainee to join our Stoke office where you will have the opportunity to grow your career in tax alongside becoming a qualified ATT/CTA chartered accountant.

Our Tax Team
You will work with a wide range of tax disciplines, including corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT. You’ll work with businesses and individuals to ensure they meet their tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and planning. Our tax experts are detail-oriented and provide tailored advice to businesses and individuals. You will help to support the preparation of tax returns, advising on compliance and supporting with complex transactions. Working as part of our tax team will allow you to be part of a fast-paced, problem-solving environment that can accelerate your career.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of tax returns and assist with compliance.
- Contribute to tax planning and advisory work across corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT.
- Work with clients to understand tax obligations and identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the tax team in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment to develop professional skills.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum Grade 6 in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points or equivalent (Excluding General Studies).
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
