Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, directors, creditors, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing a professional and discreet front-of-house service.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and correspondence, accurately triaging and directing enquiries to the appropriate case managers or insolvency practitioners.
  • Greet and receive visitors, coordinate meeting room bookings, and support the smooth running of client and stakeholder meetings.
  • Open, log, scan, and distribute incoming post; prepare and dispatch outgoing correspondence and statutory notices.
  • Provide administrative support across a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases.
  • Maintain and update case management systems, statutory records, and compliance checklists in line with regulatory and internal procedures.
  • Prepare standard letters, reports, creditor communications, and statutory documentation for issue to stakeholders.
  • Assist with Companies House and Insolvency Service filings, including forms, notices, and proof of debt processing.
  • Input and reconcile case data, maintain diaries of statutory deadlines, and support timely completion of required filings and correspondence.
  • Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, banks, and other professional advisors as required.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with data protection, regulatory, and firm policies.
  • Assist with billing administration, expense processing, and time recording where applicable.
  • Maintain reception standards, office supplies, and a professional office environment.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to insolvency practitioners, managers, and the wider corporate team.
