How you’ll play your part

We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and approachable, with a deep understanding of both DB and DC pension schemes, pension practice, and current pension legislation. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of your work. You’ll also be an excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to explain complex pension matters clearly and confidently to a wide range of audiences, acting as the expert on all things pensions.

In this role you will manage the Mercedes-Benz Group’s Pension Schemes in line with the overall HR and business strategy, delivering excellent customer service through effective and efficient processes, in accordance with policy and legislative requirements.

A key part of the role will be managing and developing the Pensions Specialist, offering guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support to help them grow and achieve their full potential

You’ll have a proven track record in managing outsourced pension administrators and third-party service providers, with the ability to build strong, productive relationships. You’ll collaborate and be an engaging team player, skilled at working cross-functionally and building effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll have a highly analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret, analyse, and draw actionable insights from a wide range of data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. With excellent budget monitoring, forecasting, and reporting skills, you will demonstrate strong financial management capability.
