Tasks
We have an opportunity for a Homologation Engineer waiting just for you.
Reporting into the Head of Product, you will provide technical expertise and support for vehicle homologation, regulatory compliance and certification activities.
Responsible for assessing legislative requirements, supporting type approval activities, managing technical compliance issues and providing specialist guidance to product management, bodybuilders and internal stakeholders.
This role acts as the technical subject matter expert within the Homologation function.
This is a full-time hybrid role, where you would be required to work from our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.

- Technical Compliance
- Interpret UK, EU, UNECE and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assess compliance implications of product changes.
- Provide technical guidance regarding approvals and certifications.
- Homologation Activities
- Support vehicle, system and component approval activities.
- Liaise with DTAG homologation and engineering teams.
- Support technical documentation submissions for approvals.
- Type Approval Maintenance
- Maintain existing GB Type Approvals.
- Assess technical changes impacting approved vehicles.
- Support approval extensions and modifications.
- NSS Activities
- Support National Small Series approval activities.
- Maintain technical compliance records for NSS vehicles.
- Support assembly plant compliance requirements.
- Product & Bodybuilder Support
- Provide technical support to Product Managers.
- Support bodybuilder and dealer compliance queries.
- Assist with technical investigations and regulatory escalations.
Qualifications
We're looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Homologation Engineer with a strong understanding of automotive engineering principles and a solid knowledge of UK and EU type approval legislation.
The successful candidate will be confident in interpreting complex technical regulations and translating them into practical compliance requirements.
With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, they will play a key role in ensuring vehicles and components meet all regulatory standards.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential, as the role requires effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
A meticulous approach and high attention to detail will be critical to maintaining compliance and supporting successful vehicle approvals.
