How you’ll play your part
We’re looking for someone motivated and friendly, who can bring outstanding people skills with a proven background in customer-facing, high-service environments. In this role you’ll assist in the management of Facilities Management (FM) service delivery at the Mercedes-Benz Tongwell site, ensuring the provision of best-in-class services that support business objectives in an efficient, effective, and cost-conscious manner.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee day-to-day Facilities Management operations, keeping our spaces running seamlessly across maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, landscaping, reception, and postal services.
- Be the go-to partner for colleagues and stakeholders, powering smooth operations through smart systems management, clear documentation, strong KPIs, and confident handling of urgent issues.
- Drive service excellence and continuity, taking the lead as BCP Coordinator and stepping up for the Group FM Manager to keep everything moving.
- Support the FM financials, raising PRs, partnering with Procurement and Controlling, managing accruals, and ensuring accurate, value-focused reporting within agreed budgets.
- Drive the future of Corporate Real Estate, helping shape long-term FM strategies that elevate processes, strengthen collaboration, and support our Ambition 2039 goals.
What you’ll bring:
- A high standard of people skills in a customer facing industry.
- Experience of leading teams of out-sourced staff in a customer facing, high standard service industry.
- Be able to demonstrate how to achieve high standards of employee and customer satisfaction.
- Proven FM experience ~ Desirable.
- Experience of current related legislation and compliance ~ Desirable.
- IT skills must include proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Retain a flexible approach and demonstrate crisis management skills.
- Problem solving essential, quick thinking and non-confrontational attitude.
- To set high standards of communication across all levels of the business.
- Health and Safety ~ Desirable.
