We’re looking for someone driven and self-motivated, a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT function, who has experience in the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions. You will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in gathering and translating business requirements, and a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making through innovative BI solutions.

In this role you will perform high quality IT Business Analysis across all phases of the application and project lifecycle, using cross functional knowledge to demonstrate a clear capability to add value across Business Units. You’ll understand the current and emerging analytical techniques to assess business needs and demonstrate expertise contributing to initiatives, ensuring smooth organisational change, and streamlining processes.

You’ll be an accredited specialist in IT Business Analysis ensuring a professional and methodical approach to all assignments along with having solid knowledge of the automotive sector, including its specific challenges, trends, and opportunities, allowing for tailored insights. You’ll be a confident communicator with all levels of stakeholders and skilled at conducting interviews to gather detailed requirements, clarify business needs, and establish a clear understanding of project objectives.

You’ll gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and produce detailed specifications for project consideration or progression. Additionally, you’ll ensure all requirements align with Mercedes-Benz AG corporate policies on security, compliance, and data protection while being effectively communicated to relevant business partners.

As an analytical and lateral thinker, you’ll be capable of breaking down complex problems, developing logical solutions, and considering alternative perspectives to uncover innovative opportunities. You’ll develop a deep understanding of assigned business areas and systems, assess the impact of changes on processes, document current and future workflows, and prepare and present proposals for consideration and approval by business partners.
