This role works closely with Project Managers, Developers, QA, Product owners, and Editorial stakeholders to ensure releases are delivered smoothly, safely, and with clear visibility. This is an entry-level / early-career role designed for someone looking to build a career in Release Management or Software Delivery. Main Responsibilities

Assist in creating, maintaining, and tracking release schedules, deployment calendars and release change logs. Coordinate release activities across environments (e.g. Canary, staging, production).
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Draft and distribute clear, editor‑friendly release communications outlining new features, fixes, and technical changes. Act as a point of contact during release windows, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress and outcomes. Support post‑release confirmations and summaries.
- Quality & Risk Support: Work with QA and development teams to ensure releases meet agreed quality standards. Help track defects, rollbacks, and release risks. Support release readiness checks (testing status, approvals, documentation).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain release documentation and checklists. Update release trackers, dashboards, and reports (e.g. deployments, rollbacks, known issues). Assist in identifying trends and improvement opportunities in the release process. Learn and apply best practices in release management. Support retrospectives and contribute to process improvements. Gradually take ownership of low‑risk or smaller releases as experience grows.
