Department: Technical / Production Reports to: Technical Manager & Senior Production Supervisor We are looking for a Production & Quality Operative to join our busy food production team.

This is a varied role combining production support with quality, food safety and compliance responsibilities.

Working closely with the Technical Manager and Senior Production Supervisor, you will help ensure that products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine and spot quality checks throughout production.

Check product weights, specifications, dates, labelling and metal detection.

Complete production, quality and technical records accurately.

Identify and report quality, food safety or specification issues.

Support the control and reporting of non-conforming products.

Work across production areas carrying out preparation, assembly, weighing, packing, labelling and boxing duties.

Assist with maintaining the supply of raw materials and packaging to production lines.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, housekeeping and health & safety.

Work closely with Technical and Production teams to support the smooth running of the department.

Undertake other reasonable duties as required following appropriate training.

About You We are looking for someone who: Has good attention to detail and takes pride in quality.

Understands the importance of food safety and hygiene.

Can follow procedures and instructions accurately.

Is organised and able to prioritise their workload.

Has good communication and basic IT skills.

Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Is reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Is flexible and willing to work across different production areas.

Previous food manufacturing, production, technical or quality experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
