About The Role
Exciting opportunity available for an Account Manager to join our NSW Sales team to help drive our business within the Commercial channel. This role will be providing coverage and managing our existing accounts within our Newcastle/Regional NSW.
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial, the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining an extensive customer base of Daikin dealers, commercial contractors, and trade accounts.
• Facilitating business growth by executing strategies to develop new customer accounts and improving existing customer accounts.
• Collaborate effectively with the sales team to meet requirements for projects and quotes.
• Achieving budget through effective negotiation to ensure the best outcomes for both Daikin and the customer, within Daikin pricing and credit structures.
• Maintaining a high level of project knowledge through regular customer follow-ups, site visits, obtaining builders schedules, etc.
• Frequent regional travels across Sydney and Newcastle with occasional regional travels as per required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous sales experience in HVAC solutions or experience in Technical Sales Support would be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of the sales cycles and the ability to apply sales strategies accordingly.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical designs and translate it to product solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with both internal and external customers.
• Motivation and resilience to successfully work through complex projects and opportunities.
