- Absence and wellbeing: Support sickness absence, occupational health referrals, reasonable adjustments and income protection claims, and handle flexible working and family leave requests within legal deadlines, making sure everyone understands the next steps.
- Employee lifecycle: Support recruitment and coordinate people processes from offer and onboarding through probation, changes and leavers, preparing contracts, amendments and letters from approved templates and completing approvals, system updates and notifications on time.
- Payroll and benefits: Own monthly payroll administration with the provider and Finance, auditing HR system changes before each payroll run, and manage the benefits portfolio end to end, from provider sourcing and renewal negotiations to day-to-day administration and P11D.
- Immigration and compliance: Own UKVI sponsor licence compliance β Certificates of Sponsorship, SMS reporting, visa tracking and Right to Work β and keep contracts, policies and records compliant with employment law and UK GDPR.
- Contingent workforce and vendors: Coordinate administration for outsourced and contingent workers with agencies and umbrella providers, and manage HR vendor relationships to keep service consistent and compliant.
- Engagement, inclusion and communications: Prepare engagement survey reporting, support follow-up actions with managers, and promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing through thoughtful, accessible activities, and help shape people updates for team meetings, manager briefings and company-wide communications.
- Data and insight: Prepare concise HR reports on headcount, turnover, absence and engagement, identifying themes and actions that support informed decisions.
- HR systems and AI-enabled improvement: Own the day-to-day running of internal HR systems and data, map and optimise people processes, and use AI tools and automated workflows to remove manual work, strengthen controls and improve self-service for employees and managers. Contribute to wider HR projects and system implementations.
