Dahlia recruitment Renewables are delighted to be once again supporting a growing Renewable Energy Business to recruit for a Graduate Contract Administrator position. This exciting opportunity will require the ability to research and learn with strong written and verbal skills and ideally a Humanitarian Degree. This is a trainee position and will also require an interest in the regulations and the environment.
This role is a fully remote position Monday - Friday so you must be able to work alone with occasional travel quarterly to head office in the North East. The Contracts Administrator will work closely with the Head of Contracts and Regulation to develop a good understanding of the company suite of commercial contracts and the entire contracting process from assessing prospective counterparties to contract signature and beyond. They will also research and develop an understanding of relevant energy regulations.
Core to the role is ensuring efficient and effective management of contractual and other associated documentation. This will involve maintaining up-to-date records and reference resources, updating template documentation, exchanging and processing relevant documents and information internally and with external counterparties, handling the administration of arranging signatures, and maintaining complete and accurate files of contract and other relevant paperwork.
Specific responsibilities are initially as set out below and will be altered at the Head of Contracts’ discretion as business need arises. The role will not require any commercial experience; however, any prior exposure to contracts, regulations, general administration and research will be highly advantageous.
