Dahlia Recruitment - Life Sciences are partnered with a rapidly growing Medical Device company to recruit for a General Manager / Sales Director to achieve Strategic Business Goals through sales, operational oversight, financial management and team leadership thatโs aligned with EMEA and global objectives, all while ensuring regulatory compliance and driving growth. The role will be remotely based with regular travel to Manchester and all areas of the UK.
Primary Objectives & Authority

- Drive measurable results, delivering strong ROI from marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage finances: Oversee the P&L, manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor performance: Regularly analyse financial, operational, and sales data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Increase awareness, adoption, and customer engagement for company products and solutions.
- Provide leadership and professional development within the team by fostering a strong culture.
- Communicate with stakeholders: Manage relationships with and report on progress to key stakeholders, including the board of directors and executive leadership.
- Lead local market and customer research to improve understanding of local drivers and inhibitors to growth.

Experience
- Proven track record (8+ years) in medical devices (decontamination, imaging, endoscopy), healthcare, or life sciences in regulated markets.
- Demonstrated experience developing, prioritising and executing regional budget plans that drive measurable results and ROI.
- Experience managing and developing direct reports/team members.
- Successful track record of collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams to achieve business growth.
- Experience managing budgets and external vendors/agencies.
- Experience engaging with customers and healthcare professionals.
NUMBER OF YEARS EXPERIENCE: 10+ Years in Field Sales and running a Sales Team
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering Communications, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated continuing professional development in leadership, or related areas.
- Training or certification in marketing, analytics, or agile project management desirable.
