The Role
A permanent, full-time, site-based role in the Commissioning team at DAGEM Power. A fantastic development opportunity for an experienced Engineer to work towards obtaining BP141 Authorisation. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Commissioning of National Grid, DNO and Renewables Substations,
- Working on HV Substations across the UK
- Preparation of RAMS and test documentation
Candidate Requirements
- BEng in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive HV substation commissioning experience
- Experience in the use of Omicron CMC Secondary Injection Test Set
- Experience in the use of Omicron CPC100 Primary Injection Test Set
- Experience in the use of Omicron CT Analyzer Test Set
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work away from home (Mon-Fri)
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Team player but able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong time management and organisational skills
Desirable Attributes
- Experience working on National Grid substations
- Experience testing Protection & Control systems
- Strong report writing skills
Progression & Development
Engineers will work towards attaining National Grid BP141 Authorisation
Remuneration
Base salary DOE (>£55k+), paid overtime, company vehicle, private health insurance, employee assistance programme and target related bonus scheme.
