We’re a growing, forward thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Sheffield, and we’re not your average IT company. We believe tech should be enjoyable, both for our clients and our team. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing 1st line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools
- Logging and managing support tickets in our helpdesk system
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Installing and maintaining Microsoft 365 apps and user accounts
- Managing password resets, permissions, and access control
- Assisting with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting
- Escalating complex issues to 2nd Line Engineers when needed and learning from them!
- Documenting fixes and contributing to our internal knowledge base
- Delivering excellent customer service every time
What kind of person we are looking for:
- Some experience in an IT support role, helpdesk, or MSP environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
- Windows 10/11 and common desktop applications
- Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- A genuine passion for tech and helping people
- Excellent telephone manner
- De-escalation tactics or happy to learn for the disgruntled customers
- A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new things
- Excellent communication skills and a customer first attitude
- A full clean UK driving licence as you may occasionally visit client sites
- Learning the Daffodil Values to the best of your ability.
- Representing Daffodil Group in person and over the phone to a high professional standard on a daily basis.
