The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We’re looking for somebody who’s confident, creative and ready to grow! You’ll need to be as comfortable managing spreadsheets as you are writing captions. Someone who’s just as happy behind the scenes as they are pitching in on creative work.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales/Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team at Daffodil Marketing. This role is essential in supporting our sales and marketing efforts, ensuring that our strategies are executed effectively. You’ll be right at the heart of our marketing activity, across both internal brands and client campaigns, bringing ideas to life, helping us stand out and keeping everything running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting the creation, scheduling and analysis of content for social media.
  • Writing and editing copy for blogs, email campaigns, newsletters and press releases.
  • Helping manage website content using a CMS (e.g. WordPress), ensuring SEO best practices are followed.
  • Assisting with design of marketing assets using Canva or similar tools.
  • Helping to plan and deliver marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Supporting the coordination of events, webinars and other community activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Keeping marketing systems and documents organised, from CRM updates to content calendars.
  • Collaborating with internal departments and external clients to help keep projects on track.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
  • Support the sales process by managing customer inquiries and providing timely follow-up.
  • Utilise internal software to track leads, manage customer relationships, and analyse sales data for insights.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging content for social media platforms and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate events and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
What kind of person we are looking for:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role (or similar).
  • A passion for writing and a good eye for detail.
  • A basic understanding of SEO, social media strategy and analytics.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, email tools and digital marketing workflows.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or Mailchimp is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Connectwise is highly desirable; familiarity with other CRM systems will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English-UK).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and try new things.
