Ideal Candidate
Essentials
- Degree qualified Chemical or Process Engineer.
- 3-7 years' post-graduate experience within the chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, fertiliser, power generation, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Practical understanding of industrial process plant design, operation and maintenance.
- Risk engineering experience gained within an insurer, broker, consultancy, risk engineering practice, or industrial operator environment.
- Experience conducting site surveys, risk assessments, HAZOPs, process safety reviews, or operational risk evaluations.
- Strong understanding of process safety fundamentals, including fire, explosion, business interruption and major accident hazards.
- Demonstrable AI, data analytics and programming capability, with experience applying digital tools to engineering, risk assessment, asset performance, predictive modelling or operational decision-making.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools such as Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent platforms.
