Workshop Cleaner/Driver (HGV) - Lancashire DAF

Lancashire DAF is seeking a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our busy PDI workshop in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to combine cleaning and maintenance duties with the thrill of driving commercial vehicles.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure the workshop and yard areas are clean, organised, and well-maintained
• Manage waste disposal following ISO environmental standards
• Prioritise safety by adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Operate a forklift truck for efficient material handling
• Move vehicles within the workshop premises
• Conduct commercial vehicle road tests (HGV licence required)
• Inspect and receive new incoming vehicles
• Assist with other general workshop tasks as needed
