Are you an experienced HGV Technician seeking a new opportunity with a progressive and respected organisation? We’re excited to offer a fantastic night shift position at our Warrington site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our customers’ vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring their fleets remain on the road and performing at their best. You’ll work with industry-leading trucks in a modern, fully equipped workshop, supported by a skilled and friendly team.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6.00 pm to 6.30 am, i.e. 48 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles, adhering to the rigorous quality standards within the Commercial Motor Industry.
- Utilise your expertise in diagnosing defects to accurately identify and address mechanical issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a team of professionals, fostering cooperation to achieve operational goals.
- Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach when solving technical problems, contributing to the smooth workflow of the workshop.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, ensuring seamless information documentation and exchange regarding repair processes and progress.
- Adhere to company and dealer processes and procedures, meet and exceed targets, proactively report opportunities for improvement and actively participate in training to maintain and develop skills.
Qualifications:
- HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
