Are you a Vehicle Technician looking to progress to the Commercial sector? Do you have a passion for all things technical and want to work on HGV vehicles? We run a fast track program that trains and teaches you all things HGV, learning will be a mix of on-site learning and bespoke training at DAF Training Academy in Haddenham. Whilst on site at our Dealership, you will be partnered with experienced DAF Technicians and be allocated a mentor to observe and shadow. Whilst at the Training academy, you will benefit from bespoke DAF training delivered by in house training experts and be provided free food and accommodation whilst learning. The fast-track programme spans over a 16-week period that consists of 4 blocks and then a final IRTEC assessment done at our Dealership.
Salary: £13.00 to £13.50 per hour, when passed the fast track course salary will increase.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, two 15 minute breaks & 30 minute lunch break (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspections training and introduction to DAFcheck.
- Basic Electrics.

- IRTEC accreditation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- The desire to convert current experience to the HGV industry.
- A minimum of 3 years mechanical experience.
