North West Trucks is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Parts Advisor to join our busy Parts Hub in Huyton.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional and supportive team, providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the efficient supply of commercial vehicle parts.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday (rota basis) 8.00am to 12.00pm – 45 hours per week plus overtime, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers and workshop colleagues with parts enquiries.
  • Identifying and supplying the correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and supporting stock control processes.
  • Promoting parts sales and identifying opportunities to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the parts department operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a parts advisory role, ideally within the commercial vehicle, automotive, or agricultural sectors.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using parts management systems.
  • A positive, proactive approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
