Motus Commercials in Hull is seeking a Business Development Executive.

You will join our friendly team in the parts department, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm.

As a Business Development Executive in Hull, you will:

This is a customer-facing, field-based role reporting to the Head of Parts Sales. Your responsibilities include managing customer accounts, increasing parts sales, and working collaboratively with internal teams and customers to achieve targets.

  • Grow the customer base for Competitive, All Makes, and Trailer parts using CRM systems
  • Provide detailed reports on customer activity and opportunities
  • Foster customer loyalty and maximize sales and margins
  • Encourage use of manufacturer web-based sales platforms
  • Coordinate with the parts team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Develop regional promotions and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Manage parts inventory accuracy and operational controls
  • Resolve invoice queries and bad debt issues promptly
  • Implement growth strategies for accounts
  • Engage in continuous learning and development
