About Us

Daddy Daycare is a small, family run business which has been operating since. Our clubs are very child focused; the children make and choose snacks, pick toys, activities and will even be involved in the interview process (they're great judges of character!). We are a real living wage employer and a company that is still expanding with plans to open new sites in the future. As a result, this role offers future opportunity for progression and we will support team members financially and academically if they are looking to progress into management.

About You

We need someone who can treat every child as an individual, can engage with them and knows how to have fun. We are looking for someone who has a childcare qualification such as an SVQ3 or HNC/HND. You will also have at least 2 years of nursery or after school club experience. You should have a PVG registration and SSSC registration.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified practitioner to join our new team at Blindwells Primary School, a service that is opening in August. The role is all year round with the option of additional hours during school holidays. This role would suit someone experienced in childcare who wants to get into Management but has not been given that opportunity; we can give the right candidate that chance. Daddy Daycare will financially and academically support team members through the Management qualifications, which we have successfully done for five different managers over the years we have been operating.

The opening hours of the service are as follows:

  • Breakfast club hours - 7.30am till 9am Monday to Friday - 7.5hrs a week
  • After school club hours - 2-6pm Monday through Thursday, Friday 11.30am till 6pm (with a 30 minute break) - 22hrs a week

We are looking for a Practitioner who can commit to after school and breakfast club hours; however that does not need to be 5 days a week. We do not anticipate needing breakfast club all 5 days to start with, so we can offer flexibility with a role that could grow over time.

Benefits

  • Real living wage employer
  • Competitive pay
  • Good progression opportunities
  • Discounted childcare
  • Free training opportunities
  • Funded company nights out
  • Extra holiday off work on your birthday
  • Pay calculated over 12 months for a consistent monthly income
