Looking for a new opportunity in childcare? Daddy Daycare is expanding its after school club in Morningside and is looking for a qualified practitioner to join the friendly team.

Daddy Daycare is a family‑run business operating since [year missing]. Our clubs are child focused; children make and choose snacks, pick toys, activities, and can even be involved in the interview process.

About You

You will treat every child as an individual, engage with them, and know how to have fun with them.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualification (SVQ3 or HNC/HND)
• At least 1 year of nursery or after school club experience
• PVG registration and SSSC registration

About the Role

Position: After School Club Practitioner – Morningside, Edinburgh.

Location: Caanan Lane (EH10 4SG). The role can be full year or term‑time only, with the option of taking on additional hours in the holiday when available.

Schedule:

• Monday‑Thursday: 2 pm – 6 pm (plus an hour during the week for a team meeting)
• Friday: 11:30 am – 6 pm (30‑minute break)

Interviews involve spending time with the children. During term time, interviews must take place Monday‑Thursday, 3:30‑4:30 pm, and Friday 1‑5 pm. On holiday, we are more flexible.
